Judge Rea has been a Barrister for 40 years and presently she works with various healthcare and financial sector Regulators in the capacity of a Legal Adviser/Assessor to Panels/Committees sitting in their Fitness to Practice (disciplinary) remit. Karen has sat as a Deputy District Judge in the UK County Courts adjudicating on all aspects of Civil Law, in London and Devon for over 20 years.

Karen has engaged in public speaking and radio work, and speaks on a number of issues, including the role of the Judiciary to Law and Bar students to help them understand what they are to expect on entering the profession.

Robin became the first barrister to transition from male to female in practice at the discrimination bar in 2011. She practices in all aspects of employment and discrimination law and lectures regularly, including transgender rights, in which she has appeared in a number of notable cases. She has published ‘A practical guide to transgender law’ in May 2021, written jointly with Nicola Newbegin of Old Square Chambers. In September 2020 Robin was named ‘Barrister of the Week’ by The Lawyer Magazine for her work on the Taylor v Jaguar Land Rover case.

Kamran is a barrister at Farrar's Building. He has a growing civil practice, with a particular focus on personal injury matters. Kamran is also currently part of the London Fire Brigade junior counsel team taking part in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry.

 

Kamran is a former Queen Mary Law graduate and Vice President of the Queen Mary Bar Society.

Kate Temple-Mabe graduated with an LLB (Senior Status) from Queen Mary in 2017. She also has a BA in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2009), and an MA in English Literature from King’s College London (2011). After completing her law degree, she undertook the BPTC at BPP Law School, before being called to the Bar by Inner Temple in 2018. She undertook her pupillage at 7BR chambers in London, where she is now a tenant developing a mixed common law practice.

Hannah has a broad commercial, civil and public law practice, with a particular interest in international litigation and arbitration. Hannah regularly appears as sole counsel in the County Court and High Court and has appeared (led) in the Privy Council and the Supreme Court. Before gaining tenancy at 3 Hare Court in October 2019, Hannah obtained a First-Class law degree, followed by a Distinction in her LLM in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution, at Queen Mary, University of London. Additionally, she has worked as a legal intern at a software company in London and the litigation, banking and finance departments of a Kuala-Lumpur based law firm.

Georgina is a barrister specialising in employment and discrimination law at Littleton in London. After completing her law degree at University College London, she completed a master’s in law at Cambridge University (Jesus College). Prior to undertaking pupillage, she completed a stage at the European Court of Human Rights, volunteered at FRU, worked as a paralegal, taught at King’s College London and Queen Mary University, and worked as a Judicial Assistant in the Court of Appeal to Lord Justice Moore-Bick and Lord Justice Irwin.
